My name is Rachel Wells, I am a UK based knitwear designer with a degree in textiles with business studies from The University Of Brighton, specialising in knitwear.

I am fascinated with the structure of knitting and how how versatile it can be to produce intricate textures. Some of my unusual designs come about through experimentation; often the more successful pieces can arise from a  mistake, which turns out better than the original concept.

My work focuses heavily on detail and how this can be applied to high end fashion in a commercial setting.
